Walpack Center, 1pm. 7/22/18 – “The History of the Walpack Volunteer Fire Department” A powerpoint presentation that goes through the history of the WVFD. Never before seen photos and stories of the fire dept. Also that day weather permitting several antique pieces of fire fighting apparatus will be on hand on Main Street.
All Walpack Historical Society programs start with a bring your own picnic lunch at noon on the day of the programs. The programs start at 1 pm are open to the public, children are welcomed but need to be parent/adult supervised…most programs run approx. one hour with a Q & A at the end. Some programs will go to site locations for additional information or memory sharing.
