Christmas in Walpack - Dec. 14 & 15 from 12-3pm

The Walpack Historical Society will be hosting its annual Christmas Open House at the Rosenkrans Museum on Saturday, December 14th and Sunday, December 15th, 2024. The event takes place from 12 pm – 3 pm on both days. We hope you will join us as we kick off the 2024 Holiday Season.

Fall Hike - November 10 starting at 10:30am

Come hike with us! The Walpack Historical Society will be leading a 4.5 mile round trip hike along the Pioneer Trail on Sunday, November 10th, 2024.  The group will hike an easy, mostly level section of the trail passing the Depue Cemetery, a sawmill site, the site of a former schoolhouse and several house sites. Walpack Historical Society in cooperation with the Delaware Water Gap National Recreation Area NPS, will honor the history of African American Residents in Walpack Township in observance of the new Federal Holiday of Juneteenth on Friday, June 21, 2024 from 11 am – 2:30 pm.
