April 29, 2018 – Join the WHS on for a pleasant spring hike along Mountain Road to the former location of the Henry Aurands’ mill site.This will prove to be an enjoyable 3½ mile round trip hike. There will be a Hike “In search of The Layton Family Cemetery” on Sunday, April 2nd 2017 at 11:00 am at the Walpack Center. The hike should last about 3 hours and covers about 1.5 miles. Participants for the hike will gather at the Rosenkrans Museum, Main Street, Walpack Center, Sussex County, NJ within the Delaware Water Gap NRA and carpool to the starting location.
