The Walpack Historical Society believes everyone has a story worth sharing. We invite you to join us for the Return of The Spirits of Lower Walpack Cemetery program on Saturday, September 20, 2025 from 6 pm – 9 pm at the Lower Walpack Cemetery. WHS members will bring to life some of Lower Walpack Cemetery’s most fascinating inhabitants. Guests will also have the opportunity to learn more about the history of the cemetery and the surrounding property; the hard work, restoration and ongoing efforts to maintain the grounds; as well the history of the Salem Oak Tree of Walpack. Those interested will have the opportunity to join guided walks to the former Rosenkrans Ferry crossing on the Delaware River.
