Take a step back in time during WHS’s annual Walpack Country Christmas. The Walpack Center Church and the Rosenkrans Museum will both be decorated for the holiday and open to the public on Saturday, December 14th and Sunday, December 15th. Both buildings will be open from 1 pm – 4 pm.

The WHS is pleased to receive a very special donation of the Rosenkrans’s Bible from Suzanne Brown of California. The Bible is signed by Colonial Benjamin Rosenkrans and was printed in 1793.
On Sunday, September 8 at 1:00 PM Walpack Historical Society will host a special showing of the movie “THESE 30 YEARS” which was filmed in the Walpack area in the early 1930’s. This film was produced by the Ford Motor Company to promote its automobiles and features a race between a horse and buggy and a “horseless carriage” of the early automotive era. Various Walpack locations were used in filming and are recognizable today.
